EKF Diagnostics launches new anaemia and haemoglobin testing guide

EKF Diagnostics has announced the launch of a new guide, Anaemia and Haemoglobin Testing, which is available as a free guide.

The in-depth haematology guide provides a review of the symptoms and causes of anaemia, as well as detailing methods for testing haemoglobin and haematocrit and highlighting the factors that may influence these measurements.

Anaemia can impact a person's wellbeing, physical productivity and work performance, but timely treatment is estimated to be able to restore personal health and raise national productivity levels by as much as 20 percent in developing nations.

EKF's range of haemoglobin analysers includes Hemo Control, which uses the gold standard azide methemoglobin method to deliver results in 25 seconds, as well as DiaSpect Tm, which uses a reagentless cuvette to provide results in around one second.
