Elanco launches competition to promote practice support material

28th May 2014

Elanco has announced the launch of a new competition that will reward veterinary professionals for utilising its new range of practice support materials.

The company has introduced various waiting room posters, client leaflets, a leaflet dispenser, modular window hangers, social media artwork and flexible, informative display kits, all based around raising awareness of the importance of parasite control for cats and dogs.

Vets are being encouraged to find creative and eye-catching ways of displaying the materials as part of the new contest, with a 1,000 pound prize for the overall winning team and 250 pounds of Amazon vouchers on offer to 11 regional winners.

Matthew Rowe, senior brand manager at Elanco Companion Animal Health, said: "We're asking veterinary practices to use their creativity and imagination when putting up their parasite control displays. Last year's winner, the Animal Health Centre in Torquay, even composed their own song."

The materials complement the company’s revised range of convenient prescribing and dosing tools, which have been launched after the recent introduction of the new 180 mg Comfortis chewable tablets.

A poll at a recent European dermatology conference revealed that almost 90 percent of leading European dermatologists regard Comfortis as their first choice for flea control.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801723850-ADNFCR
