Elsevier launches Operations Research for Health Care journal
Elsevier has announced the introduction of a new journal focusing on innovations in medical research this month.
Entitled Operations Research for Health Care, the quarterly publication features articles detailing high-quality approaches to problems in healthcare by researchers, practitioners, clinicians and policymakers.
Aimed at those with an interest in operations research techniques for improved healthcare delivery, the journal also features short communications aimed at doctors, managers and decision-makers.
The first volume and issue of the journal are available now as the March 2012 edition.
Tony Roche, publishing director at Elsevier, said: "Operations Research for Health Care will complement Elsevier's leading operations research journal portfolio by offering an authoritative forum for the community in the fast-growing area of direct relevance to researchers and professionals alike."
Earlier this month, the company announced the launch of Health Policy and Technology, a new Fellowship of Postgraduate Medicine journal that details health policy trends from a global perspective.
