Emotive appoints award-winning creative director

Emotive has announced the addition of Anke Buchta to its leadership team in the role of creative director.

Ms Buchta worked on award-winning projects with agencies such as VCCP, DigitasLBi, Iris Worldwide and Splendid, and can boast a strong consumer background and a specialism in creative interactive media.

Over the course of her career, she has led creative projects for numerous high-profile clients, combining design, copy and digital user experience to deliver campaigns via traditional and technology-driven channels.

Ms Buchta earned a degree from Mannheim's University of Applied Sciences and a further diploma in interactive art direction from the prestigious Hyper Island in Sweden.

Emotive's managing director Chris Edmonds said: "Anke is joining our leadership team with a solid combination of skills and experience to oversee and shape our creative talent. I am delighted to welcome her to Emotive."

This appointment comes after Emotive won three gold awards and a silver at the PM Digital Awards earlier in the year. The agency expressed confidence the new appointment will help to maintain this momentum.
