EmVenio Plans UK Mobile Research Clinic Project

30th June 2023

EmVenio Research, engaged primarily in community research, has entered into an agreement to run 10 mobile centers for clinical trials in England, Wales, and Scotland with EMS Healthcare, the biggest mobile clinical research organisation in the UK.

The North Carolina-based firm is venturing oversees in a bid to carry out its international strategy, connecting with a larger market of potential trial subjects and offering its clinical trial services outside of the United States.

The portable sites enable these trials to involve and enroll individuals from a larger range of both remote and urban locations. This means that the data gathered will be more diversified as it covers a broader range of people. It will also benefit those who may have struggled to be involved in a traditional trial setting due to mobility disabilities or limited transport options.

CEO of EmVenio, Keith Henthorne, said that “It’s really about decreasing barriers for people participating in clinical trials.”

Emvenio is “utilizing a lot of data sources to identify where underserved populations are and what diseases are prevalent in that community,” according to Henthorne.

The next steps in coming years will be to grow across into the European market, while continuing to put an emphasis on enhancing diversity.
