Enfinium Hires Dr Atkinson as New COO

Dr. Jane Atkinson, previous Executive Director of Engineering and Automation at Bilfinger, has been appointed by enfinium as the new COO.

Dr. Atkinson has an expansive set of experience to suit this role, including more than three decades of senior leadership knowledge. In order to guarantee a seamless changeover, she will work alongside COO William Roberts, set to retire from his post next year.

She will be managed by CEO Mike Maudsley and be responsible for enfinium’s health, safety, and environmental management in addition to a few operational assets.

The company’s CEO, Mike Maudsley, explained that “Jane has an exceptional track record of delivering operational excellence, building high performance teams and leading consistent predictable business results across a variety of assets at a time when the need for sustainable waste management and energy generation solutions have never been more critical.”

“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Bill Roberts for his invaluable contribution, during his four-year tenure, to our organisation, particularly for his leadership in developing and shaping our successful operational assets.”

Dr Jane Atkinson commented on her new role, mentioning that assets “Ferrybridge 1 and 2, Parc Adfer and Kemsley are some of the most modern and operationally efficient facilities in the UK with a truly committed and dedicated workforce. I am excited to join the team.”

In her previous jobs, Dr Atkinson had ever climbing levels of responsibility for large projects, fabrication, engineering design, mechanisation, and digitalization across both the United Kingdom and the United States. She has worked with big ticket industry players such as Bilfinger, Altrad, Cape, and more.
