Eppendorf launches new epMotion GxP liquid handling software
Eppendorf has announced the launch of a new software solution that is designed to improve the efficiency of automated liquid handling in laboratories.
The epMotion GxP suite consists of a number of different utilities, including an automated pipetting system, epBlue GxP software and certificates, as well as dedicated certification and validation services.
Developed in accordance with Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP) regulations, the software automatically handles system qualification, allowing users to focus on validating applications and processes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Other features of the software include multi-level access control, digitally signed PDF document creation tools, exportable digital certificates and optional support for ID tracking.
Dr Carsten Buhlmann, international product manager for automated liquid handling at Eppendorf, said: "I am convinced that its high quality and rich features will help our pharmaceutical customers to significantly shorten the timeline of their process validation and qualification."
Last month, the company announced the appointment of Dr Dirk Ehlers as its chief executive officer, succeeding Klaus Fink.
