Eppendorf UK completes New Brunswick UK integration

Eppendorf UK has announced that it has completed its integration of the operations of its subsidiary New Brunswick UK.

As of January 1st 2011, all sales and services activities of the firm have been combined with Eppendorf's UK-based operations, which are controlled from its headquarters in Cambridge.

The move was originally announced in November 2010 and has been described as a "natural evolution" for Eppendorf following its takeover of New Brunswick Scientific in late 2007.

It will see all New Brunswick personnel operating under the Eppendorf banner, while providing a single point of contact for clients in the UK and Ireland.

Eppendorf added that it will continue "to provide outstanding pre- and post-sales support which our customers have learnt to expect from a world-leading life science manufacturer".

Last month, Eppendorf highlighted the success of its Xplorer electronic pipette during its first year of release after receiving a number of industry awards for the device in 2010.
