Eppendorf wins award for logistical efficiency

Eppendorf has won an accolade for its logistics and product delivery performance from Fisher Scientific.

The presentation of the Logistics Award came during a two-day sales training event, in which Fisher Scientific's life science specialists were briefed on the use of various Eppendorf products.

Fisher Scientific selected Eppendorf for the prize based on its success in maintaining fill rates and keeping ship lines on time and complete, despite the challenging market conditions.

Brigitte Koch, European area sales manager at Eppendorf, stated that the award reflects the high priority the company places upon maintaining a high standard of delivery services.

"We appreciate and understand the importance of our customers' laboratory requirements and aim to continue providing quality products and consistent service in support of their work," she said.

In January 2011, Eppendorf integrated the operations of its subsidiary New Brunswick UK in a move to consolidate its service provision.
