Eppendorf ‘wins Best New General Lab Product at 2015 Scientists? Choice Awards’

Eppendorf has been awarded the Best New General Lab Product gong at this year's Scientists’ Choice Awards.

The accolades have been handed out by online resource SelectScience since 2007, with the aim of enabling scientists to vote for their favourite laboratory products each year in several different categories.

Nominations are collected and assessed by editors at the firm and the most popular are put out to the public for a vote.

Kerry Parker, editor-in-chief at the website commented: "This year, more than 7,400 scientists worldwide participated in the Scientists' Choice Awards, celebrating the most innovative technologies of 2014 from the most successful manufacturers."

SelectScience announced that Eppendorf had been named the Best New General Lab Product during the launch of its new website at the recent Pittcon 2015 Conference and Expo, held between March 6th and 10th at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta.

Eppendorf's Repeater M4 was found to have significantly contributed towards laboratory efforts in 2014, according to voters. This product is a handlehld serial pipette, designed to minimise the time and effort required for precise and highly accurate repeating dispensing tasks.
