FCB Health purchases Halesway as part of European expansion
FCB Health has announced the acquisition of the UK-based healthcare communications agency Halesway.
The US-based company has purchased Halesway, which is headquartered in Andover, as part of wider plans to expand its European presence. It gains a business with expertise in integrated digital and traditional media campaigns for pharmaceutical, medical devices and consumer health clients, reports PMLiVE.
Halesway's client roster includes brands such as Abbott, Baxter, Boehringer Ingelheim, Hospira, Merck Sharp and Dohme, Novartis, Reckitt Benckiser and Smith and Nephew. It was founded in 1993 by Liz Rawlingson.
Ms Rawlingson and her management team of Niki Crossley and Neil Padgett will remain in charge of Halesway, which will retain its current name.
Dana Maiman, president and chief executive officer of FCB Health, said: "Our joining together further enhances our ability to deliver targeted, high-impact, results-oriented campaigns for our growing list of global clients."
FCB Health is based in New York and rebranded itself from its previous name DraftFCB earlier this week.
