Ferno to showcase new equipment at services show

10th October 2012

Ferno is to display some of its latest medical equipment at an upcoming services exhibition.

The Emergency Services Show 2012 is taking place between November 21st and 22nd at Stoneleigh in Coventry and is the largest gathering of its kind in the UK.

Ferno will be placing a number of new products on show at the gathering, including its EZ Glide PowerTraxx – a chair that allows patients to be safely moved up and down stairs, with control resting in the hands of the operator at all times.

Jon Ellis, managing director at Ferno, noted the product is the first of its kind in the industry, adding: "It has multiple uses as a stair chair, evacuation chair or transport chair – capable of manoeuvring over kerbs and rough terrain."

The show will also feature the company's Harrier LT and LT-LBS ambulance trolleys.

While the former is a lightweight cart offering a combination of lifting power and high capacity battery, the latter version is designed for the carrying of larger patients.
