Ferno to showcase new products at Ambulex 2011

Ferno has announced plans to unveil and showcase a number of new ambulance equipment products at the forthcoming Ambulex 2011 trade show.

The company will attend the ambulance and rescue service vehicles and equipment event in Moreton-in-Marsh next month to demonstrate advances such as the Harrier XL, Compact 2 Carry Chair, EZ Glide 59t Evacuation Chair and Orthopaedic Scoop Stretcher.

Experts Darren Sharman and Bernard Murphy will be present alongside Ferno managing director Jon Ellis to showcase the new range.

Additionally, the company will be allying with OxSTaR, the University of Oxford's simulation, teaching and research centre, to provide equipment for use in the show's Ambulance Crew Challenge Trophy contest.

Mr Ellis said: "We have invested heavily in our new exhibition stand to ensure our 40th anniversary at Ambulex is one that all the delegates will remember."

Earlier this year, the company provided sponsorship for the Ambulance Technology Award at the inaugural Emergency Service Awards in London, which was also attended by Mr Sharman.
