Firefly Communications chosen as Savvis’ European PR partner

Firefly Communications has been selected as the European PR partner to US-based data and networking company Savvis.

Following a competitive pitch, Firefly will become the company's PR agency for the entire EMEA region and will be developing an integrated communications brief for the UK and Germany, according to the Holmes Report.

Content development, media and analyst relations, PR counsel and social media will all be encompassed by the new deal, with the aim of improving awareness of Savvis' colocation, managed hosting and cloud service offerings.

Firefly was chosen for this brief based on its established expertise in the technology PR sector and ability to deliver results.

Gill Hawkins, director of marketing communications at Savvis EMEA, said: "Firefly has proven to be a PR agency with the contacts and creative ideas that we anticipate will enhance Savvis' communications strategy in Europe."

Firefly was established in 1988 and today operates offices in London, Edinburgh, Munich and Paris, employing around 40 members of staff.
