Firefly wins new UK brief with SoftMaker

Firefly Communications has won an expanded brief with SoftMaker, an office productivity software provider.

The companies have established a successful working partnership in SoftMaker's home nation of Germany, which will be broadened as the client seeks to increase the market share of its Windows, Linux and Android Office programs.

Firefly Communications consultant Tom Reynolds will lead the work, which will involve building and maintaining relationships with key media outlets in the UK. He will report directly to Jordan Popov, sales manager at SoftMaker.

To date, SoftMaker has experienced extremely strong growth and sustained media presence in Germany, despite counting the more high-profile Microsoft Office as its chief competitor.

Firefly is headquartered in London and has been an independent PR agency since 1988. It also operates offices in Munich and Paris.
