Fleishman-Hillard celebrates ‘banner year’ for executive recruitment
Fleishman-Hillard has highlighted its success in attracting top-level executives and marketing experts to join the company during the last 12 months.
Dave Senay, president and chief executive officer of Fleishman-Hillard, described 2010 as a "banner year" for the media agency in terms of attracting "prominent game-changers" to the organisation.
During the year, staff have been recruited with backgrounds at media agencies such as Cohn and Wolfe, Ogilvy and Tribal DDB, as well as multinational companies including McDonald's and General Motors.
Its London office, for example, saw the addition of former eBay communications head Richard Kanareck as a managing director, while ex-Cohn and Wolfe staff member Raj Dadra joined in the capacity of financial director.
Mr Senay said: "We made a conscious decision to keep strategically hiring new staff from traditional and non-traditional fields to keep our firm at the forefront when it comes to meeting client demands."
This comes in the same week that Fleishman-Hillard won a prize at the 2010 European Excellence Awards for a breast cancer campaign conducted on behalf of Avon.
