Forest Laboratories UK implements Cegedim CRM solution

Forest Laboratories has agreed a deal with Cegedim Relationship Management to implement its Mobile Intelligence customer relationship management (CRM) solution for iPad.

The software provides the healthcare company's sales representatives with real-time access to comprehensive customer data, allows them to input new information on the move or create data-based multimedia presentations in meetings.

Other advantages of the Mobile Intelligence solution include its interactive nature, slick presentation and user-friendly design.

It will be rolled out across Forest's UK commercial team, thus bolstering its efforts to drive sales and compete against larger pharmaceutical companies in a challenging market.

Laurel Whitcomb, business information manager at Forest Laboratories, said the switch to iPad "improves efficiency for our sales team, giving them faster and easier technology during appointments, allowing our reps to convey a more professional service and interact with target customers in a more timely way".

Last month, the company announced the results of its annual board election, with nine of its ten nominated candidates earning seats.
