FTI Consulting wins PR brief with Smith and Nephew
FTI Consulting has won a new account with medical device manufacturer Smith and Nephew following a competitive pitch.
The FTSE 100-listed company recently conducted a review of its comms approach and has selected FTI to handle its corporate and financial PR duties. Brunswick has advised the firm since 2007.
Following this new contract win, an FTI team led by Debbie Scott, Matthew Cole and Ben Atwell will help Smith and Nephew to reorganise its comms strategy to reflect its ambitious growth plans and forward momentum.
Charles Reynolds, vice-president for corporate comms at Smith and Nephew, said: "We were impressed by FTI's creative thinking, sector knowledge and global perspective and immensely look forward to working together."
He also thanked the other companies that took part in the pitching process, as well as acknowledging the good work done by Brunswick over the last seven years.
