FujiFilm Acquires Biogen

Fujifilm acquires Biogen’s manufacturing site in Denmark as it works on expanding its global business lines, and become a ‘total healthcare ‘company’.

The Denmark site is the fourth pharmaceutical manufacturing facility to have been purchased by Fujifilm Biotechnologies, a subsidiary of Fujifilm. The site has equipped bioreactors for manufacturing, an assembly, labelling and packaging facility, a laboratory and warehouses, meaning that products originally manufactured and shipped under Biogen can continue to be supplied under the new name, Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies Denmark ApS.
