Future Science Group journal accepted by ISI

Future Science Group’s medical journal Future Medicinal Chemistry has been accepted for inclusion on the ISI Web of Knowledge.

The Thomson Reuters-operated scientific database has selected the monthly journal for coverage alongside Expert Review of Neurotherapeutics, which is published by Future Science Group member Expert Reviews.

Future Medicinal Chemistry is currently offered in both print and online mediums and features drug profiles, review articles and editorials, with all content subject to peer review.

Elisa Manzotti, editorial director of the Future Science series, said the journal’s inclusion on the ISI database is indicative of its “topical, pioneering content”.

She added: “It is now our intention to work with the editors of the journal to ensure that future issues keep pace with the huge amount of research being generated within the field.”

In March, Future Science Group hailed the success of its leading healthcare journal Pharmacogenomics after the publication marked its tenth anniversary.
