GCI Health appoints three new team members

GCI Health has announced the appointment of three new members at its London office, the growing hub of its European operations.

Claire Woods has been hired as a senior account director, having previously worked as an account director at Ketchum. During her career, she also spent six years at Red Door Communications and served as cancer comms manager at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.

Meanwhile, Laura Starr joins from Hill and Knowlton Strategies as an account director and Chris Bath, formerly of Red Door, becomes an account manager, reports Gorkana.

The three new recruits will work with global, European and UK clients across four primary service areas – life sciences, consumer health, market access communications and strategic consulting.

GCI Health experienced a strong performance during 2013, earning it a nomination in the category of world's best healthcare agency at last year's Global SABRE Awards.
