GE Healthcare wins award for radiology service

9th October 2006

GE Healthcare has been ranked first in 13 key performance categories for radiology and OB ultrasound service, in IMV Ltd’s 2006 Service Trak survey.

The company was commended for its overall service and performance, including its remote-service diagnostic efficiency.

Hooman Hakami, vice president and general manager of clinical systems services at HE Healthcare, said that the firm had shown significant improvements in performance in 26 of the survey’s 33 categories and had been chosen first by 99 per cent of its customers.

“The customer experience is driving our changes, and their feedback has changed our service-delivery strategy,” he comments.

“Our entire company is making major investments in the people and processes with the greatest impact on our customers – and our Service customers are reaping the rewards.”

Last month, GE Healthcare was also ranked first for CT and MR Service in another IMV Service Trak survey.

Competing against five other manufacturers, the firm was rated highest in the majority of categories for delivery of its services.

Dee Mellor, vice president of global services for GE Healthcare said that the company aims to assist its customers in the delivery of “superior patient care”.
