Genetix launches CytoGenetix FISH reagents and kits
Genetix has introduced its CytoGenetix reagents for florescent in situ hybridisation (FISH).
According to the cancer diagnostic and biotherapeutic technologies company, the new product is designed specifically for integration with its "highly regarded" Applied Imaging CytoVision workstation.
It added that the CytoGenetix, which is available in two concentrations – premixed and concentrated, provides "bright, clear" results.
The premixed kits are ready for use and "provide convenience" for standard applications, while the concentrated kits allow up to three paints to be used in combination without any loss of specificity.
Genetix’s CytoGenetix probes are available with three different labels CY3 and FITC, which provide intense signals and high water solubility, and Biotin, which allows the use of any streptavidin coupled fluorochromes.
"CytoGenetix probes are highly specific, have an excellent signal-to-noise ratio, and improved staining homogeneity," the company continued,
Genetix offers technologies for cell screening and selection, genetic testing, cancer pathology, protein science, microarraying and cell and liquid dispensing.
The New Milton-based company employs approximately 185 staff worldwide.
