Hanover promotes two directors within healthcare team
Hanover has announced the promotion of two of its associate directors to directorial roles within its healthcare team.
Sam Graham, who has worked at Hanover for five years, will lead on healthcare public affairs and market access, while former Merck Sharp and Dohme comms manager Jim Baxter will take charge of healthcare brand and corporate communications, reports Gorkana.
Both will continue to report to Hanover director of global healthcare Andrew Harrison. Their appointments coincide with the departure of Hanover healthcare director Mark Saxon, who has been hired as head of government affairs at Coca-Cola Great Britain.
This comes as the agency pursues ambitious growth targets, having improved its performance by 49 percent in 2013.
Hanover managing director Charles Lewington said: "We have no intention of resting on our laurels and have recently agreed a five-year business plan to double our size again, and look forward to making this goal a reality."
The firm works with a wide variety of healthcare sector clients, including Lilly, Merck Sharp and Dohme, UCB and Amgen.
