Hanover wins UCB communications brief for UK

13th September 2012

Hanover has been hired by pharmaceutical company UCB to help promote its brand in the UK.

The media agency has won a public affairs and corporate communications brief that aims to raise the profile of UCB in Britain, while also underlining the attractiveness of the UK as a favourable market for life science investment, reports PRWeek.

Andrew Harrison, Hanover's head of healthcare, will lead the six-figure, two-year account, with UCB stating that the agency's passion, enthusiasm and expertise were pivotal to its decision to award the contract.

This comes after UCB retained Fleishman-Hillard to offer global PR support for its rheumatoid arthritis treatment Cimzia last year.

Mr Harrison said: "UCB is one of the top five life science research and development investors in the UK and has a huge amount to offer patients, the NHS and this country's economic growth agenda."

Hanover was founded in 1998 and is now a 40-strong consultancy, working with FTSE 100 companies and public sector bodies, and wining strong recommendations from the majority of its clients.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801448405-ADNFCR
