Harley Medical Group wins IHAS accreditation

Harley Medical Group has won official recognition for its professionalism and high-quality services from the Independent Healthcare Advisory Services (IHAS).

The cosmetic surgery group has been included on the IHAS Register of Injectable Cosmetic Providers, meaning it is qualified to provide procedures involving Botox and dermal fillers.

It comes as part of a drive to implement new standards which will prevent patients from being put at risk by unqualified and unskilled practitioners.

Harley Medical Group welcomed this move, suggesting that IHAS accreditation will make it easy for patients and consumers to distinguish which surgeons have met the standards of industry regulations.

"In the right hands, treatments such as Botox are a safe and effective way to treat wrinkles, but the last thing you want to do is trust a needle to someone without proper training," it explained.

Harley Medical Group has been operating in the UK since 1983 and has registered all of its English clinics with the Care Quality Commission.
