All shares owned in Pfizer Inc by Hartwell JM Limited Partnership have been dumped, it has been reported.
Filings show that the investor has dropped its entire interest, according to the Mutual Fund Facts About Individual Stocks website.
However, the source also revealed that a number of funds and institutions have purchased shares in the pharmaceutical company, which has operations in 180 countries worldwide.
Sound Shore Management Inc bought an additional 773,392 shares in the company, while First Merchants Corp purchased 10,160.
Cubic Asset Management Llc, Oaktree Asset Management Llc and Wagner Capital Management Corp also upped their stakes in Pfizer.
The news comes two weeks after the US’ Food and Drud Administration announced approval of Pfizer Animal Health’s Convenia antibiotic for cats and dogs.
The treatment provides up to 14 days of antibiotic treatment via a single dose for some of the most common skin infections in the animals.
