Harvard PR wins brief to promote Wordeo messaging app

3rd February 2014

Harvard PR has won a brief to promote Wordeo, a new London-based video messaging app that was launched last month.

The Good Relations-owned tech PR agency won the brief following a competitive pitch against undisclosed agencies. The contract covers media relations, blogger relations, social media and content strategy-related activity, reports PRWeek.

Wordeo was launched on January 15th by David Bailey – the former Apple executive responsible for its retail development – and Bob Johnson, who is better known for being part of the technical launch team for BBC iPlayer.

It allows users to create short video messages to accompany their text messages, offering exclusive access to professional clips from the Getty Images video library, as well as letting users upload their own videos.

Harvard will be able to leverage their experience of working with a wide variety of other top tech brands, including Sky, Fujitsu, AppSense, Nvidia, Sennheiser and Vodafone.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801689333-ADNFCR
