HealthSTAR Communications names new executive vice-president

HealthSTAR Communications has announced the appointment of healthcare sector veteran Joe Tardibuono as its new executive vice-president.

Mr Tardibuono has more than 20 years of relevant sector experience and joins the agency from Hudson Global, where he served as head of business development and a member of its executive management team for 11 years.

In his new role at HealthSTAR, he will be tasked with creating a new business unit focused on promotional medical communications, providing innovative solutions for clients with a personalised approach.

Mr Tardibuono will also sit on the organisation's operating committee as part of his new responsibilities.

Chris Sweeney, chief executive officer of HealthSTAR, said: "Joe brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our organisation, as he is highly respected in the industry and has a proven track record."

His appointment follows the recent launch of the agency's new VConnect technology platform and a period of rapid growth within its nurse educator division.
