Henry Schein staff member becomes honorary ICD member
Henry Schein has announced that its vice-president for dentistry in northern Europe Simon Gambold has become an honorary member of the European Section of the International College of Dentists (ICD).
The organisation, which promotes professional excellence and contributions to the field of dentistry, has selected Mr Gambold for his support for the dental profession and significant contribution to the ICD over the years.
Fellowship is extended by invitation only, with any nominees having to pass a rigorous peer review process assessing their achievements, service and dedication to the continued progress of dentistry.
Phillip Dowell, international president of the International College of Dentists, said: "Henry Schein's work to advance healthcare by providing education and supporting the development of dental leadership is a perfect fit to the ICD's goals."
For three years, Henry Schein has been a Diamond sponsor, which has helped to support the running of the college and aided it in carrying out and administering its educational and humanitarian remit.
