Heraeus’ iBond Total Etch wins praise from magazine

Heraeus has welcomed a positive rating granted to its iBond Total Etch bonding agent by industry publication The Dental Adviser.

The magazine has granted a four-and-a-half-plus score to the bottle kit after it was positively evaluated by 27 consultants in 647 uses, receiving a clinical rating of 94 percent.

Reviewers praised the product for its strong wettability of tooth services and low film thickness, as well as its single-coat application, minimal odour and the absence of post-operative sensitivity.

Meanwhile, 78 percent of those consulted said they would switch to iBond Total Etch if given the opportunity, while 96 percent would recommend it.

Heraeus product manager Amanda Holland said: "We have always felt that iBond Total Etch is the best etch-and-rinse bonding agent on the market and these impressive independent testing results have only strengthened our conviction."

In addition to this, Heraeus achieved a maximum five-plus rating for the related iBond Self Etch bonding agent from the same publication.
