Hill and Knowlton adds editorial director to MKG business

Hill and Knowlton Strategies has announced the appointment of Dr Bettina Seri to a new role within MKG, its London-based medical education team.

Dr Seri has been named as the business' new associate editorial director, a position that will see her assume responsibility for the clinical and scientific stream of MKG's medical communications offering, reports Gorkana.

She joins the company from Medicus International, where she was employed as principal medical writer and associate director of scientific and strategic services. She has experience of providing strategic publication and medical education planning for a number of pan-European clients.

Her expertise covers a wide range of therapeutic areas, including diabetes, autoimmune disorders, cardiovascular disease, dermatology, oncology and neurological disorders.

Dr Stuart Baker, head of MKG, said: "Coming from a research background and with an outstanding track record in medical communications Bettina's experience will be hugely beneficial to both our clients and our team."
