Hill and Knowlton appoints worldwide digital practice director
Hill and Knowlton has chosen Andrew Bleeker as its new global digital practice director.
Mr Bleeker is a noted authority in online marketing strategy across both the public and private sectors and recently founded the digital communications agency Bully Pulpit.
He was the director of internet advertising for Barack Obama's successful 2008 US presidential election campaign, while he has also previously worked with clients such as the Alliance of Climate Protection and the World Food Programme.
Mr Bleeker said he intends to deliver "next-generation" digital public relations capabilities to Hill and Knowlton's full range of clients, including those in the healthcare sector.
Jack Martin, the company's chairman and chief executive officer, said: "Andrew understands the 21st century architecture for digital marketing and has the ability to guide companies in how to execute at the next level."
Earlier this month, Hill and Knowlton announced that chief marketing officer Tony Burgess-Webb will be retiring from his position at the company next month.
