Hill and Knowlton Strategies hails departing European CEO
Hill and Knowlton Strategies has praised the contributions of its European chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) Sally Costerton following the announcement of her imminent departure.
Ms Costerton, who is also the chairman of Hill and Knowlton Strategies for the Australia, Middle East, Africa, South and Central Asia region, will be leaving the media agency at the end of the year, following a 12-year stint with the company.
During her time in charge of Hill and Knowlton Strategies Europe, Ms Costerton oversaw a root and branch review of the business that included several new hires, a fresh leadership team and improved service for clients.
Her responsibilities will be jointly shouldered by current UK CEO Richard Millar and north-east central European president Lars Erik Gronntun following her departure.
Ms Costerton said: "I have relished working on some of the world's most challenging assignments alongside many of the industry's most impressive professionals."
This comes a week after the company was renamed from Hill and Knowlton to Hill and Knowlton Strategies, as part of a shift in corporate identity.
Summary: Hill and Knowlton Strategies has hailed the work of its outgoing European CEO Sally Costerton, while announcing a succession plan for the position.
