Hill-Rom exceeds expectations in 2015 fiscal year

13th November 2015

Hill-Rom has announced strong financial results for the 2015 fiscal year, ending on September 30th 2015, during which it was bolstered by recent acquisitions.

For the full year, the company's revenue was $1.99 billion (1.31 billion pounds). a year-on-year increase of 18 percent on a reported basis, or 24 percent in constant currency terms.

During the fourth and final quarter of the year, its revenue increased 20 percent to $574 million – or 25 percent on a constant currency basis – primarily due to strong North American capital revenue growth and the Trumpf Medical and Welch Allyn acquisitions.

Excluding the impact of these takeovers, constant currency growth was seven percent, driven primarily by 13 percent growth in North America and six percent growth in the surgical and respiratory care businesses.

For fiscal 2016, Hill-Rom expects its reported revenue to be between $2.66 and $2.7 billion, reflecting low to mid-single-digit constant currency organic growth.

John Greisch, Hill-Rom's president and chief executive officer at Hill-Rom, said: "We have improved our customer value proposition and are driving strong growth in revenue and adjusted earnings for 2016 and beyond."ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801805705-ADNFCR
