Hill-Rom highlights growth opportunities at investor meeting
Hill-Rom has outlined its growth strategy and updated its financial guidance for the year at a recent investor conference.
Following the recent completion of its acquisition of fellow medical technology firm Welch Allyn, the company now expects reported revenue of between $1.96 and $1.97 billion (1.29 to 1.3 billion pounds) for 2015, with fourth-quarter revenue between $545 and $555 million.
Between now and 2018, it anticipates organic constant currency revenue growth of three to five percent per year, with a cumulative operating cash flow in excess of $1 billion.
With its increasingly diversified portfolio, the firm will be looking to develop new partnerships with healthcare customers and business partners, while investing in research and development and improving its sales and marketing capabilities.
Efforts will also be made to optimise its manufacturing footprint, accelerate product rationalisation and reduce supply chain costs.
John Greisch, president and chief executive officer of Hill-Rom, said: "Our focus on growth and on enhancing outcomes for patients and their caregivers, combined with a rigorous focus on increasing earnings and cash flow, is designed to significantly enhance shareholder value."
