Hill-Rom to distribute Haldor’s ORLocate products worldwide
Hill-Rom has signed a deal to distribute Haldor Advanced Technologies' market-leading ORLocate suite of products worldwide.
The exclusive global distribution partnership will take advantage of Hill-Rom's status as a leader in the perioperative and surgical space, bringing Haldor's products to a wider range of users than ever before.
ORLocate is the first commercially available interoperable system to utilise radio frequency identification technology for tracking, managing and analysing surgical instruments and sponges before, during and after surgery.
It can be configured for applications such as sponge tracking, instrument lifecycle management and set-level or instrument-level tracking, in a way that can be tailored for the scope of budget of the hospital in question.
Ilan Kadosh Tamari, chief executive officer of Haldor, said: "This partnership has the potential to create a new standard of care as it relates to the ORLocate technology and hospitals' ability to track and trace surgical instruments, sponges and consumables."
Hill-Rom partners with healthcare providers in more than 100 countries and employs over 10,000 people worldwide.
