Hologic showcases latest women’s imaging technology
Hologic is currently showcasing its breast tomosynthesis technology and other new products for women's imaging at an industry event in Paris.
The company is exhibiting at the 59th Congress of the Journees Francaises de Radiologie (JFR), which began in the French capital on Friday October 21st and runs until Tuesday October 25th.
An interactive symposium entitled Mammography and Tomosynthesis: from Screening to Intervention was hosted by Hologic on Saturday October 22nd for radiologists attending the JFR Congress.
It featured experts in breast tomosynthesis imaging such as Dr Pierre Gignier and Dr Anne-Pascale Schillings of the Clinique du Sein, Clinique Saint-Pierre in Belgium.
New Hologic products on display at the event include the ATEC, Celero and Eviva breast biopsy systems, as well as the Selenia Dimensions breast tomosynthesis system.
The company is set to publish its fourth quarter fiscal 2011 operating results and host a conference call on Monday November 7th.
