Hotwire appoints group managing director for UK
Hotwire has announced the appointment of Alex MacLaverty as group managing director (MD) for the UK, a role focused on ensuring opportunities for growth, innovation and improved services.
She will lead the group's overall UK operations, including Hotwire and 33 Digital, and will be responsible for maximising the productivity of its 82-strong UK team. She has been promoted to the new positive having previously served as MD of the Hotwire business.
Ms MacLaverty has been a key part of the organisation for almost ten years and can boast considerable experience across all strands of the agency, having helped it to become one of the fastest-growing international tech consultancies in the world.
She will manage a UK leadership team led by Hotwire deputy MD Emma Hazan and Peter Sigrist, UK MD for 33 Digital.
Brendon Craigie, chief executive officer of Hotwire, said: "She is a great leader, client advisor, businesswoman and a team player. She is probably one of the most complete and well-rounded PR leaders that I've had the opportunity to work with."
This comes after the firm named Steven George-Hilley and Claudia Bate as new associate directors last month.
