Hotwire appoints new chief client officer

23rd October 2017

Hotwire has announced the appointment of John Mahoney to the newly created role of chief client officer.

Mr Mahoney is a former vice-president and client partner at Sapient Razorfish, and can boast considerable experience of managing integrated communications and marketing campaigns for large global businesses, including HP Enterprise and Visa.

In his new role, he will be dedicated to delivering strong campaigns and experiences to Hotwire's global client base, addressing challenges faced by chief marketing officers and the brands they represent.

His appointment coincides with two other senior appointments, with John Brown promoted to group senior vice-president for strategy and innovation, a role that will see him relocating from London to New York.

Meanwhile, Sahana Jayaraman has been promoted to executive vice-president and global head of Hotwire's Digital Brand Lab, with an international focus on growing and integrating the team and its work.

Hotwire's chief executive officer Barbara Bates said: "Today's announcements show the confidence we have in our growth plans as well as our ability to step outside of the usual agency comfort zones."
