Hotwire CEO moves to New York to lead agency’s US expansion
Hotwire has announced a reorganisation of its US leadership structure that will see the agency's global chief executive officer (CEO) Brendon Craigie make the move to New York.
Mr Craigie is crossing the Atlantic to directly steer the tech PR agency's growth strategy in this key market. This follows the departure of former US managing director Leslie Campisi earlier this year, according to the Holmes Report.
Additionally, former Text100 and Airfoil executive David Bailey has joined Hotwire's US office as executive vice-president and general manager, succeeding Rebecca West.
Hotwire's US business grew about 50 percent in 2014, with its approximately 30-strong team overseeing around $3 million (1.9 million pounds) in business.
Mr Craigie said: "This transitions us from being just a European business with agencies around the world to being a global player."
The UK-based agency was recently named as the outstanding large PR consultancy of the year by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
