Hotwire CEO named among Tech City’s key influencers

Hotwire has announced that its chief executive officer (CEO) Brendon Craigie has been highlighted in the 2013 TechCityinsider Almanac as one of the 100 most influential people in Tech City.

The almanac includes a list of professionals from a wide range of disciplines who are believed to be helping to redefine digital business in London's technology scene and beyond. It includes entrepreneurs, investors, media personnel, executives, technical experts and many more.

Mr Craigie was included in the ranking thanks to the strength of his leadership at Hotwire, experience in the tech sector and influence on the wider industry.

He has been with the agency since 2001, joining a year after the firm's foundation, and rose to the position of group CEO in 2011.

The business leader said: "Since the agency was founded, we have always put innovation and entrepreneurship at the heart of what we do, and so it is with great pleasure that we have been recognised for that."

This comes after the agency welcomed Alex MacLaverty as its new group managing director for the UK last month, with Mr Craigie describing her as a "complete and well-rounded PR leader".
