Hume Brophy wins Children with Cancer UK contract

27th May 2014

Hume Brophy has been handed a new brief by Children with Cancer UK, the leading children's charity focusing on the fight against childhood cancer.

The agency will provide advocacy support for the organisation over the coming year and will work to raise awareness of the organisation's research and campaigns, which are dedicated to improving prevention, early detection and treatment of the disease.

Efforts will be made to guide policy development through work with the Department of Health and the Health Select Committee. This will involve educating and informing politicians about the charity's work, reports Gorkana.

Hume Brophy is known for its expertise in governmental affairs, which is why the agency was selected for this brief.

Caroline Hampden-White, head of external affairs at Children with Cancer UK, said: "We need the support of an agency that can think out of the box, knows our sector but is also ahead of the game in terms of strategy planning and seizing opportunities."

Hume Brophy employs an 80-strong international team and serves a number of healthcare sector clients, including Photocure, Martindale Pharma and Teva.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801723170-ADNFCR
