Idexx Laboratories launches Catalyst One Chemistry Analyser

Idexx Laboratories has launched the Catalyst One Chemistry Analyser, the latest addition to its leading line of point-of-care instruments.

It provides similar performance to the high-throughput Catalyst Dx­ Chemistry Analyser in terms of laboratory-quality results and real-time workflow, while being suitable for sites where a single sample drawer meets requirements.

The device is able to combine chemistry, electrolytes and total T4 in a single sample run – an industry first – providing veterinarians with greater clinical insight during the client's visit.

Set to go on display this month at the 2014 North American Veterinary Conference, orders for the Catalyst One Chemistry Analyser will commence in the US in February 2014.

Last month, the company expanded its range of digital imaging products with the introduction of the EliteVision Digital Imaging System, designed specifically for equine veterinarians.
