Integrated DNA Technologies announces upcoming RNAi talks

Integrated DNA Technologies has announced that it will be presenting keynote addresses at the upcoming RNAi International Conference and Exhibition and its co-hosted symposium, Aptamers.

The company's chief scientific officer Dr Mark Behlke will share the firm's expertise within the advancing field of RNAi, addressing topics such as long and short non-coding RNAs, their role in gene regulation, functional studies, RNA biomarkers and therapeutic applications.

Up first will be the Aptamers symposium, which takes place on March 24th and 25th 2014, and will see Dr Behlke discuss how aptamers can be employed as a targeting ligand to deliver therapeutic cargo to specific cell types.

Meanwhile, during RNAi from March 25th to 27th, the expert will talk about the role of unlocked nucleic acids (UNAs) in the reduction of off-target effects while retaining potency. This talk will also cover the use of UNAs in dicer-substrate siRNAs.

This comes after the company presented its latest molecular inversion probe research at the recent Advances in Genome Biology and Technology meeting in Florida.
