Iredale Communications strengthens health capabilities with new consultant hire
Iredale Communications has announced that health journalist Anna Hodgekiss has been appointed as a new consultant for the agency.
Ms Hodgekiss is the former health editor at MailOnline, having previously worked as associate editor of the Good Health section at the Daily Mail from 2007 to 2010, reports Gorkana.
She has been briefed to help the agency expand its healthcare division, which currently serves clients ranging from vascular surgeons to medical recruitment agencies.
Agency founder Will Iredale said: "We have a fantastic track record in working with health brands, but Anna's longstanding reputation in this sector as one of the finest health editors in Fleet Street makes her a great addition to our team."
Additionally, comms industry veteran Brian MacLaurin has been named as the new chairman of Iredale Communications, having previously worked with Mr Iredale for seven years before the latter acquired the corporate trade and health division of MacLaurin Media to form his own business.
Finally, Nicola Renshaw has been handed the role of client services director, leveraging her 18 years of in-house experience working for the likes of BT, Dunhill, Avaya and CloudSense.
