Ivoclar Vivadent hails tenth anniversary of Tetric Evo products

Ivoclar Vivadent has marked the tenth anniversary of its Tetric Evo product line, which was introduced in 2004 with the launch of Tetric EvoCeram.

Since the introduction of the universal anterior and posterior composite a decade ago, more than 100 million restorations have been successfully placed with Tetric Evo products worldwide.

Launched as a successor to Tetric Ceram, Tetric EvoCeram has been named as the industry's top long-term performer composite by The Dental Advisor, achieving a five-star rating following an eight-year assessment, while it also demonstrated a zero percent failure rate in an internal ten-year study.

In the years since, additional products such as the flowable variant Tetric EvoFlow and the malleable posterior composite Tetric EvoCeram Bulk Fill have also been introduced.

Dr Laurent Schenck, clinical marketing director at Ivoclar Vivadent, said: "The name Tetric stands for continuous evolution. For that reason, we consistently further develop these products. Their resounding success is a continuous source of motivation for us."

The firm also received an iF Packaging Design Award for Tetric EvoCeram earlier this year, earning praise for its ease of use and ergonomic shape.
