Ivoclar Vivadent highlights strong interest in IPS e.max Smile Award
Ivoclar Vivadent has highlighted the strong interest its 2016 IPS e.max Smile Award scheme has attracted since launching in October.
Around 250 participants have registered to take part in the contest so far, with entries submitted from across the world. Entrants are invited to contribute evidence of the most esthetic dental cases solved with the IPS e.max system.
Teams consisting of a dentist and a dental technician are eligible to compete, with restorations needing to include at least six units and be fully documented from beginning to end with photos and a video.
An international panel of experts will use this material to get an overall impression of the project and evaluate its esthetic characteristics, complexity and suitability for the case presented.
The company said: "The highly acclaimed dental specialists feel honoured to judge the submissions. They are committed to this project and are encouraging all dental professionals to take part."
All submissions will need to be completed by February 28th, with winning projects demonstrated via social media, at trade shows and other events, and in professional journals.
