Ivoclar Vivadent launches new dental radiometer and polymerisation light

Ivoclar Vivadent has announced the launch of two new products for use in the polymerisation of dental materials.

The first of these is the Bluephase Meter II dental radiometer, which offers minimal deviation compared to the current gold standard product and enhances the long-term success of direct and indirect restorations through regular use.

It offers numerous benefits over conventional radiometers, which often allow a limited check of the light intensity of the polymerisation device only.

The company said: "In order to completely polymerise dental materials, the intensity of the applied polymerisation light must be regularly checked. The dental radiometer Bluephase Meter II offers a simple and yet precise solution."

Additionally, Ivoclar Vivadent has launched its new Bluephase Style M8 polymerisation light, the successor model to the mains-operated Bluephase C8, which offers an attractive price-performance ratio.

It provides a light intensity of 800 mW per sq cm, making it ideal for the polymerisation of dental materials such as fissure sealants.
