Ivoclar Vivadent launches new Tetric CAD composite blocks
Ivoclar Vivadent has announced the launch of Tetric CAD, the latest addition to its offering of composite blocks for esthetic restorations.
These blocks designed for the efficient production of indirect single-unit restorations, and offer a pronounced chameleon effect to allow them to optically blend into the existing tooth structure.
They are straightforward to use and efficient to process, meaning restorations can be milled and polished quickly and then seated using an adhesive technique. As such, they are well-suited to treatments in a single session.
Blocks are available in an MT and HT level of translucency in various shades, and can be processed with Ivoclar Vivadent's PrograMill system, as well as with CEREC/inLab technology from Dentsply Sirona or the Planmeca PlanMill system.
With the launch of Tetric CAD, Ivoclar Vivadent's portfolio now covers a wide spectrum of indications, ranging from temporary restorations made of PMMA materials to permanent restorations using ceramic, zirconia or composite materials.
The manufacturer said: "The introduction of Tetric CAD enables dental practices to use materials from Ivoclar Vivadent for all of their digital restorations."
